Pianist, Vocal Coach, and Educator

Ahmad Hedar is a renowned pianist and vocal coach celebrated for his expertise in opera and collaboration with leading singers and institutions around the globe. Based in the Czech Republic, he has worked with internationally acclaimed artists, including Gabriela Beňačková, Bryan Hymel, Eva Randová and Mariusz Kwiecień, as well as emerging stars like Petr Nekoranec, Kateřina Kněžíková, Arhneídur Eiríksdottir, Ester Pavlů and many more.

As a concert pianist, Ahmad frequently performs alongside international competition winners such as Xabier Anduaga and Serena Sáenz. His work as a vocal coach has taken him to prestigious opera houses, including Bergen National Opera (Norway), Théâtre du Capitole Toulouse (France), and Royal Opera of Liège (Belgium), where he specializes in Czech operatic repertoire.

In addition to his performance career, Ahmad is an active educator, serving as a vocal coach and répétiteur at the Academy of Performing Arts and Jan Deyl Conservatory in Prague. He has also shared his knowledge through masterclasses and collaborations with young singers, particularly at the European Music Academy and his own masterclasses in Český Krumlov.

Ahmad's commitment to music education and performance is complemented by his role as Music Director of RunOpeRun and Opera Lidem where he oversees the musical preparation for productions such as La Traviata, The Magic Flute, The bartered bride and Rusalka. A scholarship recipient at Bayreuther Festspiele, his artistry continues to captivate audiences worldwide, including regular performances at the Czech Center in New York.
